PhD in Artificial Intelligence
ITCL Technology Center needs to incorporate for its research group an Artificial Intelligence Senior Researcher to carry out the management and execution of R+D+i projects in collaboration with industrial companies.
Lines of work:
- Development of algorithms related to predictive systems.
- Filtering, cleaning, construction, integration and formatting of data according to the corresponding models.
- Application of Machine Learning techniques.
- Extraction of indicators and their application for continuous improvement in the analysis processes and model definition.
- Implementation of algorithms or solutions based on Machine Learning, optimization or Cryptography technologies for fields such as transportation, energy, industry, chemistry, agribusiness.
- Analysis of project and/or customer requirements.
- Integration and deployment of applications following the established architecture and processes.
Functions:
- Development of R&D projects in the field of manufacturing processes.
- You will lead and/or collaborate in the preparation of national and international project proposals.
- Manage multidisciplinary projects and teams and maintain close contact with customers.
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least four years of experience on R+D+i proyects based on AI, both in national and international calls and in particular experience in:
- Project management.
- Development of projects with industrial clients.
- Technical coordination capacity of consortia between research centers and companies.
- Generation of ideas and approach of new R&D projects with companies and in national and international calls.
- Writing of reports, reports, technical articles, scientific publications.
- Search for scientific and technical information.
- Contact with companies, Universities, Public Research Organizations.
- Management and strategic planning.
- Other CCTT/Research Institute/Company R&D Department.
Key Qualifications and Education:
- PhD related to AI, Engineering in Computer Science or Telecommunications or Mathematics Degree
- Proficiency level of English (minimum B2), both speaking and writting.
- Orientative age: 35-40 years old
- Python knowledge required -high level-, Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, POSTGRESQL, Predictive Algorithms, Machine Learning.
- Valuable: Management of version control tools (Git), Virtual environments (VirtualBox, VMWare, …), Linux (Ubuntu, Debian), Big Data architectures and tools.
