EVIVA+ Virtual Experiences for Inclusion

What is EVIVA+?

The EVIVA+ project, Virtual Experiences for Inclusion, aims to develop an innovative educational programme that promotes inclusion, accessibility and the appeal of training and careers in the social and healthcare sectors.
This project involves the collaboration of seven partners from three countries (France, Spain and Italy), three training centres, three institutions supporting vulnerable people or those facing difficulties with social and professional integration, and a specialist in virtual immersion.

EVIVA+ Objetives

  • Develop and test three realistic professional scenarios based on employers’ specific needs.
  • Develop three immersive and interactive serious games using virtual reality and gamification, tailored to the expectations of younger generations.
  • Ensure the accessibility of the serious games (subtitles, audio/visual quality) for students with specific needs.
  • Integrate these serious games into partners’ training programmes to support vulnerable groups (young people not in employment, education or training – NEETs, people with disabilities or in precarious situations) and enhance the sector’s appeal.
  • Promote social work professions through serious games, highlighting professionals and service users, and organise outreach events to maximise impact.

Results

  • To design three training modules in the form of serious games, tailored to each of the training courses in question (in particular the DEES).
  • To develop an innovative educational approach aimed at enhancing the appeal of training programmes dedicated to supporting people in vulnerable situations.
  • Share and pool best practices specific to each course and each country amongst the partners, with a view to improving the quality of teaching on the three courses in question..
