European AI4CI Master Artificial Intelligence for Connected Industries
The AI4CI master is a European master opened at Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (Cnam), Paris downtown, France, as well as at partner universities in Germany, Romania, Spain, Ukraine. The project began on November 1, 2023. It was initiated with the intention of training new experts in AI applied to networked systems used in connected industries.
The master training program covers:
- Fundamentals of artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to networked systems.
- Automatics and advanced automation, for industrial networks and robotics;
- Advanced network architectures, IoT and computer systems;
The master teachers include world-class academics from our european partners and industry experts active in the master technical areas on international, European and national collaborative industrial research projects (H2020, ANR), standardization and open-source bodies (ONF, IETF, ETSI).
Main Objective:
The AI4CI project aims to support European educational institutions in creating a new joint master’s program focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence to Connected Industries. The primary objective is to train at least 500 new experts in artificial intelligence technologies for connected industries to strengthen the EU’s industry and scientific ecosystem, and to graduate at least 250 of them. The joint European master’s program AI4CI is designed to be implemented in 4 countries, across 7 universities, with the integration of 5 SMEs and 3 research centers that support the training and professionalization activities of the students. With a two-year program, AI4CI includes 14 core courses and 18 elective courses. It is based on a strong integration of academic and industrial knowledge and offers remote teaching and mentoring of experimental projects: SMEs, research centers, and academia collaborate on 17 short-term courses specific to recent topics in the field with a strong specific industrial connotation.
