PROMARE: Remote maintenance of machines enables manufacturers to perform proactive maintenance and redesign critical parts. Discover the benefits of implementing remote maintenance in industrial settings.

PROMARE – Proactive maintenance of unique remote machines

National Project

File: IPT-2011-1265-020000

The objective of the PROMARE project is to provide tools that enable capital goods manufacturers to carry out proactive maintenance of machines once they have been installed in their customers’ factories. This will allow them to offer a remote maintenance service of their machines and to use the information of their machines in production for a redesign of those parts that they consider critical.

With the remote maintenance system, the machine manufacturer will have access to all production information, making it easier for him to determine the specific problems of each of his customers.

Duration: 2011 a 2013

The project has been subsidized by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Union (EU) within the LIA program of articulation and internationalization of the system.

The PROMARE project has successfully demonstrated the value of remote maintenance of machines in industrial settings. By implementing advanced tools and technologies, manufacturers can now perform proactive maintenance, ensuring early detection and resolution of potential issues. This approach not only reduces downtime and maintenance costs but also enhances the reliability and lifespan of capital goods. The insights gained from remote monitoring enable continuous improvement and redesign of critical machine parts, ultimately leading to more efficient and productive manufacturing processes. The project’s success underscores the importance of integrating remote maintenance systems for achieving long-term operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
