ARADOS – Collaborative Platform for Friendly and Supportive Rural Areas

European Project

The main objective of the ARADOS: Collaborative Platform for Friendly and Supportive Rural Areas project is to develop a new pilot system that allows the integration of services to promote independent living and friendliness in rural areas, as well as the management of care and attention, taking into account the physical, psychological, cognitive and social aspects that affect people living in rural areas.

It is a technologically innovative project, as it will be able to integrate different technologies in a simple and intuitive tool, but without losing functionality, as well as socially innovative as it will favor the integration of local participation, through the constitution of a local support network of time and service exchanges.

Objective:

  • To integrate in an innovative way services that favor the independent living of people in rural areas.
  • To design a new system of care and attention for independent living, taking into account the physical, psychological, cognitive and social aspects that affect dependent people in rural areas.
  • Promote the improvement of the physical environment (open spaces and buildings) in rural areas and its adaptation to the needs of dependent people.
