TEXTOSIGN
The naturalness and expressiveness is the great triumph achieved by ITCL in the development of TEXTOSIGN, the Virtual Translator of Sign Language.
Maya, our Virtual Translator, is at service of persons with hearing impairments which uses the Spanish Sign Language (LSE).
ITCL cooperates in this way with the community of people with hearing impairments, which fights daily to improve their integration in every aspect of every day’s life.
TEXTOSIGN received several important awards, standing out between then the following:
- Innovation in Telecommunications award from Fundación Vodafone
- Andalúcia Socidedad de la Información Award in the modality Citizen Life Quality Improvement
- Third best innovative project in the V Edition of the International Forum of Digital Content (FICOD) 2011.
ITCL developed the Virtual Translator accordingly the needs of La Caixa , and is installed in several their ATMs.
