REREREVI explored VR rehabilitation for older adults with heart conditions living in residential care. The project aimed to make rehabilitation sessions more engaging and give therapists a simple way to follow each person’s progress.

What is REREREVI?
REREREVI set out to create modular, customisable software to support rehabilitation and ongoing care for older adults with heart conditions.
Designed for residential care settings, the proposed tool would help therapists and residents carry out exercises and review each person’s progress from day to day. It aimed to encourage repeated practice, support the development of motor and functional skills, and give professionals both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
The project also explored how a simple, intuitive and affordable tool could support telerehabilitation, allowing therapy to continue at home. This approach brought together virtual reality and digital tools for care.
